The Youth Group is watching Darius Goes West: The Roll of His Life, on Sunday, October 4th, 2009 at 5pm at the church on the big screen. Proclaimed “A Classic” by The Los Angeles Times, and the most decorated film of 2007, this movie tells the story of 15-year-old Darius Weems from Athens, GA leaving home for the first time. Darius and his accompanying friends-turned-filmmakers have a specific goal: to get his wheelchair customized on MTV’s hit show, Pimp My Ride. Travel with this all-male crew as they discover joy, brotherhood, and the knowledge that life, even when imperfect, is always worth the ride. Admission is FREE!
