Hope Springs Christian Fellowship’s annual “Spring Fest” festival will be held on May 1st, 2010 in the church’s new home at 1025 Baxter Street. Spring Fest is open to the public, and Hope Springs invites the entire community to attend.
From 11am to 4pm, there will be free food, fun games, inflatable bounce houses, and tours of the church’s new home, a rehabilitated commercial building that had been an abandoned eyesore for some time.
At 4pm, the outside activities will come to an end and a free concert will begin inside. The concert will feature Lee McNeil and the Sweet Communion Band, and the music will be from their latest C.D. “Sweet Communion” which includes original Americana and bluegrass songs.
The church is located next-door to Georgia Cycle Sport. The facility has a large parking lot that will be filled with pickup basketball games, a cookout, and lots of other fun and games, including air hockey, ping pong, bubble blowing, and face painting. There will be activities for people of all ages. Information about the church and its services will be provided inside, where building tours will be available.
Hope Springs was established four years ago, and was most recently meeting at Gaines School Elementary. The congregation has recently renovated and moved into the building on Baxter Street. Hope Springs is a non-denominational Christian church that prides itself in accepting all people from all walks of life. Spring Fest will offer the community an opportunity to visit the newly renovated building, meet the Hope Springs congregation, and enjoy a day filled with fun recreation and fellowship.
