For as long as I can remember I have been haunted by a vision. It has suffered many blows as the Lord has whipped it into shape and beaten the flesh out of it but the vision always. A little leaner perhaps, but it always comes back. The vision is that of a church a community of believers…no, a community of those who have experienced the lavish love of our Father God. This week I want to lay out before you the depth and the width and the height of that love. It is a treasure that will sustain you, protect you, guide you and flow forth from you into the lives of those about you. That love is the thing God wants us to be caught up in. He wants it to define us and become us. I’m not even certain I can give it voice but I’m going to try because it is all that really matters.
See you in church!
