Most of us wander through our life as a Christian oblivious to God’s real aim. We think He’s after perfection or cultural transformation. We think He’s after holiness or really good worshippers. We may think He’s after doctrinal purity or exciting displays of supernatural power. Some of us think He’s after excellence or spontaneous worship. The truth is God has lost something, something very valuable and He wants it back. He wants it back so badly He’s willing to die for it. The truth God is missing His “sinner” and He’s coming to find him/her and take him/her home.
