Jesus said that He was sending His disciples out as “sheep among wolves”. His idea was to catch some wolves. I don’t know if you ever thought about it, but catching wolves can be a very dangerous business, especially if you are the bait. I really can’t see what a sheep has to offer a wolf except a good meal, a sacrificial meal! Yet, it is only by eating the body and drinking the blood of a lamb that any wolf has a chance.
